Dear: anyone who is interested. Do this. Order up the junk in the Amazon list... It comes to just over a hundred bucks. Then buy the other junk at your local supermarket. It will quickly become apparent that this will save you a bunch of dough!
Let me start by saying I think eating is usually a chore... Unless it rapes your wallet. This experience has been life changing for me. The first day, I got epic gas and...well... Shat my brains out. But I digress.
I discovered I was just dehydrated as usual. That solved the crapping. Most people don't know what it is to get all the nutrition they need. I dunno that this stuff or the recipe is perfect OR that it gives you everything you need... BUT. It sure as hell beats whatever the F I was eating before.
I get a beer for lunch. Not always, but twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday. I get to chill and talk it up with the bartender... Without ever worrying about my budget. That was impossible prior to my People Chow diet with olive oil.
I have consistent, usable energy. I find that, prior to this, I had energy spikes from eating, resulting in useless overages of energy, followed by debilitating crashes. This only became apparent to me after committing to People Chow.
The first day I tried it, I was focused beyond anything I expected at work. Awesome!
I'm just telling you about my experience because I wish I had done this earlier. I wish I had read a review like this. If you don't want to do this... Don't. I hate reading about people who tried Soylent or other food substitutes and just bitch about how they love food too much to give it up. Those people are morons. Those people are the micromanagers at your job. Those people suck at life.
This replaces the meals that suck. It doesn't mean it needs to be a religion. This makes the meals that rule... rule even more because not worrying about food budget when you have a fine dining experience is a luxury and pleasure I couldn't have possibly imagined before this.
I hate the term foodie. Everyone loves food. But ask yourself this... "What did I eat two days ago?" If you're like me, you can't answer that unless you had something remarkable. Unfortunately, your wallet remembers, and food is f*ing expensive. I hope you have the guts to try this. You'll make your own epiphanies, I'm sure.
Pro tip: Use warm water. It mixes way easier. I actually prefer drinking mine warm. But I'm lazy. That's just me.
Also... Careful to mix it right your first time. Read the amounts carefully and get it right. I only had an ounces measuring cup so I had to do conversions. After that, I only use a measuring scoop for the Masa and Whey. Everything else, I throw in a large or small pinch. My daily meals take 5 minutes... Max!
I slam this stuff and forget about it. The biggest pro is money. That's why I did this. It sure as hell beats ramen, beans and rice, or hot dogs and tortillas... At least as staples on a tight budget.
I will keep buying this stuff in bulk because it solves a wallet problem for me and allows me to enjoy the food and drink I enjoy most... All the more.
