THIS RECIPE HAS BEEN SUPERSEDED.
FOR LATEST REVISION SEE: https://www.completefoods.co/diy/recipes/australian-soylent-10-improved-logistics-refined-nutrient-profiles-no-oil-wpc
Simplified Australian mix to match Soylent 1.0 as closely as possible:
- Decreased oil as much as possible to match omega3:omega6 ratio and for practicality. Cleanup is MUCH easier without mixing in the oil with everything so it just rinses off with water. Just drinking the oil separately is the easiest as it's such a small amount.
- Increased oats to get fat requirement with decreased oil and to decrease the starch content as much as possible. The starch doesn't to do anything but up the calories to requirement but it doesn't taste very nice. This mix tastes very much like cake batter now.
- Removed cocoa powder and cinnamon for simplicity, tastes great without it, see above.
- Removed psyllium husks as oats provide enough fibre.
The mixed powder comes to about 1L volume a day. Works great 3 times a day mixed with water to become about 350mL of liquid a meal, incredibly easy to just down in a few gulps if you're in a rush.
Takes about 2 hours to prep a month's worth, incredibly easy.
