Changed WPC to WPI for cleaner source of protein (more protein, less carbohydrates) and for its lowered lactose content, now suitable for most people with lactose intolerance (I have an extremely high lactose intolerance level however I can tolerate the WPI but not the WPC). Also chose the vanilla flavoured WPI to make the blend more palatable.
Lowered the quantity of sugar as a source of carbohydrate, added additional oats to compensate. RDI for sugar is around 90g according to the Dieticians Association of Australia (other sources recommend RDI of 25g for 'added sugar').
Lowered the multivitamin from 2 tablets to 1 as the levels of Manganese was too high (original recipe had 16.4mg, most medical sources advice upper limit of 11 due to risk or neurological issues). Changed standard table salt to iodised table salt to resolve lowered level of iodine. Supplemented reduced Choline, Molybdenum, Vitamin K and Vitamin A with separate tablets (which will be crushed and added to the mix). This also helped lower the daily cost as the individual vitamins are cheaper than the multivitamin.
