This is basically a fortified strawberry, banana, coconut smoothie that I ran through Excel's GRG Nonlinear Solver. It's delicious and it meets pretty much every nutritional guideline I could think of. It's not the cheapest recipe listed on the site, but no more expensive than the Fast Food I'm replacing with it.
My goals were to get at least 100% of every nutrient (male 18 - 50 guidelines) while staying as far away from the safe maximum as possible. I also tried to minimize oxalate intake (45.1 mg), the gylcemic index, and the Omega 6 : 3 ratio (1.8). Omega 3's are both ALA (11.4 g) and DHA + EPA (4.0 g), while limiting Flaxseed to 50 g/day out of concern for chronic cyanide toxicity (there have been no human cases of toxicity from Flaxseed so it's kinda arbitrary). Macronutrient ratios are from the American Institute of Medicine's recommendations, trying to stay on the low end of carbohydrates and getting sufficient but not excessive protein, and keeping the fiber 25% soluble. Sodium is low, magnesium, potassium, and phosphate are high. I also add a probiotic to the mix, but didn't include it here since it has no nutritional value.
