This is a re-formulated Cocoa ketosis recipe with higher-quality ingredients (more expensive though) and I replaced peanut oil with higher-grade coconut oil and avocado oil. Also note that the nutritional information on many of these labels were hard to read or didn't list everything they actually do contain in small quantities so some of that isn't listed which is the reason for the disparity between Quid's recipe and my own on the Nutritional Comparison chart to the right (many things are in red but the "amounts" are the same from Quid's recipe but my filling out of the nutritional information is less accurate due to the labels, I might have to call each company to get the detailed data).
The whey is grass fed and vanilla flavored - they have chocolate flavored too but I tend to enjoy mixing my vanilla and chocolate drinks.
Carbohydrate count is slightly higher on this one but the fat content is pretty high and a bit more diverse.
Making the Recipe
I don't have a scale and the recipe editor was a bit confusing when trying to specify volume rather than weight for the serving of each ingredient so I made it with a cooking conversion sheet using my subjective relation to common house hold staples (wheat => whey).
I then fiddled with the amounts for a few days until I arrived at something that tasted pretty good and I believe has the majority of the percent daily value for each ingredient. Because my process above was not scientific and the recipe editor still feels kind of confusing when constructing portions I haven't actually worked out how close to the ideal dietary supplementation this recipe is. Once I get a good scale I'll attempt weighing these ingredients and making the shake that way.
Parnell's Recipe (from the ingredient list)
I mix all of the dry ingredients together, put in the blender, pour in the oils and then the water and blend. Combined with Bulletproof Coffee (I don't mean mix it in!) in the mornings it sustains my energy levels throughout the day and my subjective experience of efficacy is very high.

Personal Experience Report (PER)
It is indeed cheaper than shopping for my food at Whole Foods. No doubt. I'm psychologically less burdened too, because, I no longer worry over what to cook after a ten hour work day.
I will generally mix in some solid food when I want to; but, it's usually nuts, sausage, bacon, or rice-less sushi and only occasionally during weekdays and mostly during weekends.
As of January 10th, 2015 I have been feeding myself this shake for eight days and so far no negative side-effects, only positive ones.
My bowel movements are much healthier too, most likely due to the lessened solid food intake combined with the increased fiber and water intake.
Drinking Alcohol on this, sucks. Don't do that.
