Buckwheat of 1.1 caused pretty bad cramping but lower iron certainly stopped the constipation issues. Going back to masa harina but keeping the other changes in multivitamins that allowed me to drop the iron levels.
Unfortunately read in Colgan's Optimum Sports Nutrition today that most male athelete's should be taking in about 36g of iron a day. Perhaps I'll have to build up to that or something because that was just unbearable.
