This is a theoretical recipe that I am trying to approach with Kai's Current : https://www.completefoods.co/diy/recipes/kais-current
A lot of assumptions made in this recipe have not yet been tested − in particular in regard to taste and digestability.
Prices are in SGD (SGD 1 ~= USD 0.8).
Orientation
This recipe tends to be less organic and more essential-nutrient-oriented. Most nutrient amounts can be changed without altering the others.
It is meant to provide good satiety even with very low-calories. This is achieved with high-fiber, low-GI and some ingredients such as MCT oil and resistant starch. The amount of calories can easily be adapted without altering other nutrients (see below).
There is a focus on high-absorption nutrients, like chelated minerals. There is more work to be done on mineral ratios though (see http://discourse.soylent.me/t/optimal-micronutrient-ratios/5049/15).
Another field of improvement is on adding more phytonutrients and nootropics to ensure that the body is not missing on essential or beneficial nutrients not yet validated by research.
Calories
The amount of calories can be increased by adding more maltodextrin or MCT oil. Simply make sure that the fiber intake remains over 14g per 1000 kcal.
