Purpose
Premise of changing the recipe was mostly taste-based. Too much masa flour made the drink too chalky.
Also am trying to balance out the LA's and ALA's to be close to 1:1 (keeping it close to halfway of the 17g max for omega-6).
Taste
I dig this one - generally do 2:1 or 2.5:1 water to mixture ratio. Good flavor, texture is silky enough. Sort of like chocolate milk but the powder hasn't completely dissolved.
Letting the mixture sit in water for too long will have it thicken up a bit (which may or may not be a good thing depending on what you prefer) due to all the ground flax. I'll usually add more water to it to thin out the drink.
Notes
This was generally meant to be my main few courses. I'll usually leave out the olive oil so I have room for a meal with some fat in it.
Generally 1 meal/day +- some snacking, the rest Soylent
