I thought Coach Grady's Soylent was a great and simple recipe. However, the protein was crazy high with respect to the calories per day. This recipe tries to level out the protein with carbs while adding a bit more fat.
2200 kcal is still very little for bodybuilding/weightlifting purposes, but 200g of protein for a ~170lb person is pretty good.
Basically I tune my calorie intake with bananas. Starting with 4 bananas a day and decreasing until my weight gain is level.
