11sep17 - tweaked the oil entry - it was computing wrong calories. Also added my daily separate protein powder (40g) in with the whey line.
Trying to tweak Donnelley's cheap soylent to work in my life. Taking this stuff all day until the evening meal, which I eat w/ my wife. So my objective is to provide nearly fully for my nutrient (and protein) needs, without too many calories, and still allow me to eat a "normal" dinner w/ my wife. I'm currently 67, and joint health is a big concern, so: I've added curcumin as an anti-oxidant, and BioPerine as a digestive supplement to enable the uptake of the curcumin. I've also added resveratrol (not in this formula). The cinnamon is also considered a good healthy additive, and provides a little sweetness. Using sucralose to make it palatable. The MgO is added primarily as a stool softener - it's the only way to go if you ask me. Using Whey protein instead of Soy - it seems to be the "in" protein for the crossfit crowd.
