From Orig recipe
I love 100% Food. I think its delicious and I love the primarily natural ingredients, but I'm a little sick of the "small startup" business practices. I may be mistaken, but it seems there have been two price increases in the last month. After the first price increase, I ordered a little extra, to reduce the price per meal back to the level I was comfortable with. Half my order, however, was the completely wrong flavor. $80 worth of product I didn't order. I reached out to them via email, and was not satisfied with the customer support response. They have no workflow to get you the product you ordered when they ship you something else by mistake. As such, I've decided to take matters into my own hands.
This is my first reverse engineering of the Low Carb Chocolate flavor. It's based completely off the ingredients listed in this blog post. This DIY tool, however, has highlighted a couple issues. I suspect the real 100% Food significantly exceeds the maximum daily manganese recommendation and falls short of the minimum daily choline recommendations. PLEASE NOTE: I'm still working my way through my remaining 100% Food supply and have not actually prepared this recipe at home. I have no idea how this tastes. I'm hoping for the best, but I have my doubts about how good 140g of soy protein tastes.
