I created this recipe as a complement to intermittent fasting, to stay in Keto for longer in the day. I still eat a meal on top of this typically, as 1700 calories isn't enough for me, but I wanted to make sure that I had all of my nutrients covered, and I could just eat whatever I wanted after a couple of shakes in the afternoon.
There's a sub 2:1 ratio of omega 6s to omega 3s, and I tried to get as much calcium from natural sources as I could. I would love to get rid of that calcium supplement if anyone has any ideas.
I personally get the Masa from a nearby Mexican grocery store, but I linked to a good one from amazon. Make sure you get a masa that's ground with lime. It makes the corn easier to digest.
I imagine a diet of only this would be great for losing weight. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to improve!
